First, use the design software to carry out assembly analysis on the product drawings of each component. The set of drawings mentioned in our work ensures the correctness of the product drawings before the mold design. On the other hand, we can be familiar with the importance of each component in the entire case to determine the key dimensions, which is very beneficial in the mold design, The specific method of drawing set will not be introduced in detail here.
  2. The work to be carried out after the product analysis, the mold structure to be used for the product analysis, the process arrangement for the product, the determination of the punching content of each process, and the use of design software for the product deployment. The product deployment generally starts from the follow-up project, for example, one product requires five processes, and the stamping completion starts from the product drawing to the fourth project, the third project, and the second project One project, and then a copy of the drawing, and then carry out the work of the previous project, that is, complete the product development work of the five projects, and then carry out the detailed work. Note that this step is very important, and it needs to be particularly careful. If this step is completed well, it will save a lot of time in drawing the mold drawing. After determining the stamping content of each project, including in the molding die, the internal and external lines of the product material thickness will be retained, It is used to determine the size of the male and female dies. The product development method is not described here, but will be specifically described in the product development method.
  3. Material preparation: prepare materials according to the product development drawing, determine the template size in the drawing, including all fixed plates, discharge plates, convex and concave molds, inserts, etc. Pay attention to directly prepare materials in the product development drawing, which is very beneficial to drawing the mold drawing. I have seen many mold designers directly calculate the product development drawing manually to prepare materials, which is too inefficient, and directly draw the template size on the drawing, In the form of assembly drawing, on the one hand, the material preparation can be completed, and on the other hand, a lot of work can be saved in the work of various parts of the mold, because in the work of drawing various components, only positioning, pins, guide posts, and screw holes need to be added in the material preparation drawing
  4. After the completion of the material preparation, the drawing of the mold drawing can be fully started. A second copy of the material preparation drawing can be made to draw the components, such as adding screw holes, guide post holes, positioning holes and other hole positions, and the threading holes in the punching die that need to be cut by wire. In the forming die, the forming gap between the upper and lower dies must not be forgotten, so the mold drawing of a product has almost completed 80% after these works are completed, In addition, in the process of drawing mold drawings, attention should be paid to the following: all processes, including making, such as bench marking, wire cutting, and other different processing processes, have complete production layers, which is of great benefit to wire cutting and drawing management, such as color differentiation, and dimension marking is also a very important work, but also the most troublesome work, because it is too time-consuming.
  5. After the completion of the above drawings, it is not possible to issue the drawings. It is also necessary to proofread the mold drawings, assemble all the accessories, make different layers for each different mold plate, conduct mold assembly analysis with the same benchmark, such as the guide post hole, and insert the product expansion drawing of each process into the assembly drawing, to ensure that the hole positions of each template are consistent and the upper and lower mold clearance fit at the bending position is correct
